I’ll agree with you on that. It’s hard to admit, butClash The Truth didn’t live up to it’s expectations. Granted, there was no real buzz around it, but after Beach Fossil’s self titled debut and EP, I thought for sure this release would be well worth the wait.

I know you guys will hate me, but I do agree with Pitchfork writer Ian Cohen when he said that the album was confusing. It really was, and left me quite anxious and somewhat disheartened at the end. A friend of mine told me that the album gets better after a few listens. I listened to Clash countless times, but I still felt the same way.

It’s weird. I feel somewhat affected by this way this album turned out. I really hoped for something that would’ve felt me feel the same way I felt when I first listened to the band’s self titled. 

I guess some bands just slip up, but I’m hoping, for Payseur’s sake, that the next release is somewhat better. 

With that said, I’m not a fan of them like I used to be. In part, it’s due to the fact that I’ve gotten older, and now it seems childish to be an obsessed fan, but also, this new album just made me feel completely weird.

Anonymous asked: Hi... supposedly there were two CDs by PEACE IN, and I've never been able to find them (or mp3s for them) anywhere. I was in touch with Dustin at some point a year or two ago, and it seemed like he was about to sell me the 2 CDs...but then I stopped hearing from him. As of now, I only have 2 songs on mp3 -- "Pyramid of Sun in the Heavens" and "Candy Rug Lizards."

i havent been able to get more mp3s besides the ones you have :(

I will no longer be posting through the Fuck Yeah Beach Fossils tumblr anymore. To be honest, I’m just not into Beach Fossils anymore. There was a time in my life where I would attend every single NYC Beach Fossils concert. I guess that’s not the case anymore.
